With the help of Professor Pedro del Nido, Niv Ad MD, Zsofia Long MD, we have tested our jugular and femoral length CardioSight devices in a blood-filled, beating heart model. Among several other maneuvers we have successfully demonstrated optically-guided biopsy in the right ventricle. The sequence below shows a bioptome in the CardioSight device’s working channel, tissue engagement, the biopsy site and the resulting tissue sample.
