Hardware Electrical Engineer

Full time | Budapest

We are looking for Hardware Electrical Engineer with strong analog design skills, to help develop medical systems.

Tasks

  • Developing concepts according to customer requirements and specifications
  • Design and validate hardware components for programmable electrical medical systems
  • Building and evaluating prototypes, creating documentation
  • Cooperation with manufacturing and quality assurance departments

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 3+ years of design experience
  • The ideal candidate possesses a broad general knowledge and experience in the feasibility, construction, and operation of electronic systems. Their comprehensive understanding extends beyond circuit design and testing to encompass manufacturability and technological considerations.
  • Proficiency in PCB schematic and layout design
  • Skilled at using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and other instruments.
  • Confident oral and written English language skills
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in medical device design, manufacturing, or product certification activities (e.g., CE, UL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of European medical standards and/or US regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 60601)
  • Working knowledge of fundamental PCB layout concepts especially regarding EMC and ESD
  • Advantage: experience with resonant converter design
  • Embedded system experience is a plus
  • Ability for problem-solving and ability to work on multiple tasks
